I’m drawing 12 portraits with the title of a music album that reminds me of the subject, or that I hope the person will listen to soon.

Square format, skin, hands, feet, facial expressions.
Just like music albums.

“Ritratti” (“portraits” in Italian) was a project started in January 2014, featuring a bunch of portraits of friends and relatives, one per week, made with colored pencils and blending stick.
Some posing requests were an “excuse” to meet or reconnect with dormant relationships, which were important in my life.
At the end of the project all the portraits were displayed in an local exhibition, a sort of a party to celebrate this setters.
